Scott Big Boy Anvil | 250 lb.

The 250 lb Scott Big Boy is the largest anvil in the Scott family. Its design is based on the traditional London pattern anvils favored by many blacksmiths and farriers. The Big Boy features bump blocks on each side of the anvil for a lower bumping surface and increased mass through the body. Much attention is given to the 4 3/4" × 9" round horn to ensure it is ground and finished symmetrically without ridges or flat spots. This anvil is a top choice for blacksmiths and farriers wanting the highest quality shop anvil.

All Scott Anvils are poured in a Texas foundry. They use a proprietary ductile iron blend that provides the properties needed to produce the highest quality anvils available today. Each anvil is ground, machined, heat treated, hand finished, and painted in Amarillo, Texas. Designed, tested, and used by Scott Collier.
