FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS


SHIPPING

  • We will ship all orders in the continental U.S. for $10.00. Anvils, forges, horseshoes, tools, everything on our website qualifies. All $10.00 orders will ship UPS Ground or Freight Truck, expedited shipping is available at regular price. Bar stock, some anvil stands and other oversize items will have a UPS oversize charge added at checkout (typically no more than $12.00). It's that easy, no minimum or maximum orders required! (Special orders may not qualify for $10.00 shipping.)
  • All orders are shipped via UPS unless other arrangements are made. Delivery is one to seven days depending on location. Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, and 3 Day Select services are offered if available to your location. We pack items to get the best shipping rate. Large or heavy weight orders may be shipped by freight truck if it is more economical at Well-Shod's discretion.
  • **In calculating UPS delivery days, UPS does not consider the day that the item ships, holidays or weekends as transit days. 
  • **Most orders ship within 24 hours. Please contact us if you have a delivery deadline, we will be happy to accommodate you so that your order is delivered on time.
  • **Monday and Tuesday are peak shipping days, please let us know if same day shipping is required.
  • To ship with UPS we need a physical address, they do not ship to any PO boxes.

CREDIT CARDS & PAYMENT OPTIONS

  • We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover. We will accept money orders, personal or business checks. Merchandise will ship when the check has cleared. Sorry, NO COD'S.

BACK ORDERS

  • We work hard to have a large inventory of products in stock and ready to ship when you need them. If we happen to be out of an item, we will contact you, see if a substitution is available and give you an idea of when the back ordered item will be in stock. We will contact you as soon as the back ordered item is available.
  • No additional shipping is charged on back ordered items, unless you choose to have it expedited.
  • *Please be aware that manufacturer backorders are going to happen, we do everything we can to get items in stock for you as fast as possible. Thank you for understanding*

RETURNS

  • If you would like to return an item please call and let us know what you are returning and why. We must be notified of all returns within 30 days of invoice.
  • Returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee if they are not in new, unused condition and in the original packaging.
  • The customer is responsible for paying all shipping charges.
  •  *Special order and Custom items may not be eligible for return or exchange.*

PRICING

  • We invite you to compare our prices, we believe you'll be pleasantly surprised! Published prices do not including shipping charges. Appropriate shipping charges will be added to your order prior to checkout.

SALES TAX

  • Some states will now have sales tax. These fees will be calculated at checkout. If you are tax exempt please let us know and provide the appropriate documentation prior to ordering to avoid any charges.

HOLIDAYS

  • Well-Shod is closed for all major holidays. New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day. Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Some holidays fall on a weekend and a business day will be observed. Please check our Facebook page for our latest up-to-date information.

OUT OF COUNTRY ORDERS

  • Please note that out of country orders are not eligible for the $10.00 Flat Rate Shipping. Out of country orders are also responsible for paying duties and taxes upon arrival. You are also responsible for your own broker. We will do our best to find the best shipping rates for UPS and Ocean Freight orders. DID SOMETHING GO WRONG WITH YOUR ORDER?

  • If anything is not as expected please call us as soon as possible so we can help correct any issues 1.800.206.2181.
  • Lost or damaged packages are the worst! Always let us know asap if this happens to you. We will need pictures of the damaged box and a picture of the shipping label of the package. Email: orders@well-shod.com or text them to 434.933.2181
