FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS


SHIPPING - $10.00 Flat Rate Shipping

·        All items that weigh less than 150lb qualify for $10.00 Flat Rate Shipping. We will ship all orders in the continental U.S. for $10.00. Anvils, forges, horseshoes, tools, rasps, and all items under 150lb qualify. You can order one rasp or a whole pallet, it’s that easy, no minimum or maximum orders required! (Special orders may not qualify for $10.00 shipping.)

·        Bar stock, some anvil stands, and other oversize/overweight items will have a UPS oversize charge added at checkout. All oversize fees are listed at the item level so there are no surprises.

All $10.00 orders will ship UPS Ground, US Postal or Freight Truck, expedited shipping is available at regular price.

Most orders are shipped via UPS unless other arrangements are made. Delivery is one to seven days depending on location. Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, and 3 Day Select services are offered if available to your location. We pack items to get the best shipping rate. Large or heavy weight orders may be shipped by freight truck if it is more economical at Well-Shod's discretion.

**In calculating UPS delivery days, UPS does not consider the day that the item ships, holidays, or weekends as transit days. 

**Most orders ship within 24 hours. Please contact us if you have a delivery deadline, we will be happy to accommodate you so that your order is delivered on time.

**Monday and Tuesday are peak shipping days, please let us know if same day shipping is required.

To ship with UPS we need a physical address, they do not ship to PO boxes.

**WHOLESALE CUSTOMERS-Shipping fees are subject to change without notice and will reflect accurate charges in the final invoice. Special charges including but not limited to lift gate, residential, delivery appointments and limited access points will be billed on the final invoice. CREDIT CARDS & PAYMENT OPTIONS

·       We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover. We accept money orders, personal or business checks. Merchandise will ship when the check has cleared. Sorry, NO COD'S.

 

BACK ORDERS

·        We work hard to have a large inventory of products in stock and ready to ship when you need them. If we happen to be out of an item, we will contact you, see if a substitution is available and give you an idea of when the back ordered item will be in stock.

·        If you an item you want is out of stock, you can select Out Of Stock Notifications on the item and we will email you when the item is available.

*Please be aware that we are experiencing numerous manufacturer backorders at this time. We have increased the amount of inventory we keep in stock as well as ordering earlier and more often in an effort to keep items in stock. If the items you need are out of stock, please contact us for and estimated time of arrival or possible substitutions. Thank you for understanding.

 

RETURNS

·        If you would like to return an item please call and let us know what you are returning and why. We must be notified of all returns within 30 days of invoice.

·        Returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee if they are not in new, unused condition and in the original packaging.

The customer is responsible for paying all shipping charges.

 *Special order and Custom items may not be eligible for return or exchange.*


PRICING

·        We invite you to compare our prices, we believe you'll be pleasantly surprised! Published prices do not including shipping charges. Appropriate shipping charges will be added to your order prior to checkout.

 

SALES TAX

·        Sales tax will be collected and remitted to your state for residents of Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Wisconsin. Taxes will be calculated at checkout. If you are tax exempt, please let us know and provide the appropriate documentation prior to ordering to avoid any sales tax charges.

 

HOLIDAYS

·        Well-Shod is closed for all major holidays. New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day. Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Some holidays fall on a weekend and a business day will be observed. Please check our Facebook page for our latest up-to-date information.

 

IINTERNATIONAL ORDERS

·        Please note that international orders are not eligible for the $10.00 Flat Rate Shipping. International orders are also responsible for paying duties and taxes upon arrival. You are also responsible for your own broker. We will do our best to find the best shipping rates for UPS, US Postal and Ocean Freight orders. ·        Lost or damaged packages are the worst! Always let us know asap if this happens to you. We will need pictures of the damaged box and a picture of the shipping label of the package.
