How It Works

White Lightning® Gel generates Chlorine Dioxide on contact with mild acid (such as vinegar), releasing a gas that eliminates bacteria, fungi, viruses, and spores without harming healthy tissue. Once released, the gas dissipates, leaving behind an inert, non-toxic residue. This same safe chemical reaction occurs automatically in the gel version — no extra steps needed.

Uses

• White Line Disease
• Thrush
• Rain Rot
• Scratches
• Skin Fungus (e.g., ringworm, girth itch, greased heels, etc.)

Application Instructions

• Clean the area, trim hair, and remove dirt.
• Apply a generous coating of gel over the affected area.
• Protect the area so the gel stays in place for 6–8 hours.
• Apply 2–3 times per week for 3 weeks, then 1–2 times per week until healed.

• Remove shoes and trim the hoof as needed.
• Clean the problem area, including the frog and deep central sulcus.
• Apply gel directly to affected area.
• If barefoot or treating Thrush, cover with gauze, then wrap with plastic and secure with duct tape for 6–8 hours.
• Treat 2–3 times per week for 4–6 weeks, then 1–2 times per week until hoof has grown out or Thrush is resolved.
• Apply 2–3 times a month to prevent fungal infections.
