Instructions for Use

IMPORTANT: White Lightning must be mixed with equal parts white vinegar to activate the chlorine dioxide reaction. Do not use metal containers—use only paper or plastic. The mixture is potent for 8 hours before becoming inert. Only mix what you plan to use immediately.

Hoof Soak Application

• Mix 2 oz White Lightning with 2 oz white vinegar, and enough water to reach halfway up the hoof wall.
• Remove shoes if possible, and thoroughly clean the hoof of dirt and debris.
• Insert the hoof into a heavy-duty plastic bag or a Disposable Vapor/Soak Boot filled with the activated solution.
• Secure the top around the leg (use vet wrap or a similar method) to trap the gas and prevent it from escaping.
• Let the hoof soak for 40–45 minutes.
• CAUTION: Do not mix with any other product—this may cause a hazardous chemical reaction.

Frequency: Repeat 2–3 times per week for the first 4–6 weeks. Then, apply 1–2 times per week until the hoof has fully grown out. Once healed, use once a month to help prevent recurrence of White Line Disease or Thrush.
