NANRIC Rocker FR6 | 5-5/8" x 6-3/8" | Clipped
The NANRIC Steel Full Rocker Shoe is a narrow version of the Full Rocker Shoe, drop-forged in steel. It is designed to offer high-end mechanical breakover, with the breakover or pivot point located in the center of the shoe to help the horse self-adjust its palmar angle.
This shoe is often used when a narrower fit is needed, especially when one foot is more narrow than the opposite. The shoe can also be opened up and fit to a wider toe when indicated.
The Steel Full Rocker Shoe can be used to help reduce tension over the navicular bone, bursa, and associated ligaments, while reducing compressive forces on the sole corium and aiding rigid sole growth. Lateral radiographs are helpful in trim and shoe placement, as well as evaluating progress.
