About Jim Blurton
Jim Blurton is a world-renowned farrier whose career began under the guidance of his father, also a farrier. After years of competing internationally, Jim achieved the title of World Champion Farrier in Calgary in 2005. With more than 200 competition victories worldwide, his expertise also earned him the role of Head Farrier at both the 2012 London and 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
In 1980, Jim established Forden Farriers in Wales, where more than 40 apprentices have learned the trade. His experience working with horses, developing specialist horseshoes, and designing professional farrier tools has helped establish the Jim Blurton name internationally, with his tools distributed to more than 70 countries. His belt buckle collection draws inspiration from the horseshoe designs that have become part of his professional legacy.
