GC Denoix Sport Training Shoe — Size 3
Designed by Jean-Marie Denoix, DVM of Normandy, France, the Sport Training Shoe is a good all-purpose shoe for training. It eases the breakover process, helping to keep future hoof and leg problems to a minimum. This shoe rolls with good protection of the sole and adequate heel support. (Great for use on the foot opposite one with lameness issues. Make certain stock thickness is the same as the therapeutic shoe.)
The Sport Training Shoe is a light shoe for training sound young and adult horses. It is used in rehabilitation of distal joint arthropathies on soft footing and collected gaits.
Indications
- General training where easy, consistent breakover is desired
- Protection of the sole with adequate heel support
- Rehabilitation of distal joint arthropathies on soft footing / collected gaits
- Useful on the opposite foot when the other limb is shod therapeutically (match stock thickness)
Construction
- Rolling profile to ease breakover and reduce limb stress
- Sizes 4–10 manufactured from 3/8" (9.5 mm) aluminum stock
- Sizes 9–14 manufactured from 1/2" (12.7 mm) aluminum stock
