How It Works

For Leather or Synthetic Pads
- Clean and trim the hoof thoroughly.
- Pack Sole Pack Hoof Packing Paste into the sole and frog.
- Use fingers to work paste into deeper cavities.
- Apply pad and shoe the horse as needed.
For Bandage Applications
- Clean the hoof thoroughly.
- Pack the foot with Sole Pack Paste and press it into all voids.
- Cover with paper and a polypropylene boot.
- If needed, use duct tape to secure the bandage or boot.
Duration of Treatment
- Can be left in place for up to 18 hours per treatment session.
- Repack and recheck as needed until infection subsides or hoof pliability is restored.
- If drying occurs, revive with Sole Pack Liquid.
- Use 2–3 times per week; do not exceed 6 weeks of continuous treatment.
Storage Instructions
- Store between 68–77°F (20–25°C).
- Keep out of direct sunlight.
