This is a great hammer to use either to start clips or to use in ornamental blacksmithing. These hammers are the ultimate metal displacement tool. They are handmade and each is unique, however they can be matched very closely if that is your desire. Handles are #1 hickory and are approximately 17'' long. Please feel free to reshape the shaft to suit your hand, I firmly believe that a hammer needs to fit the user. These handles will stay tight without soaking and the flame tempering will give you a little extra ''whip''.
