Designed by Dilton Emerson in 1983, Emerson Anvils have become a necessity for blacksmiths, farriers, and blade smiths worldwide. They are 100 percent MADE IN THE USA, using the highest grade materials available along with superior craftsmanship.
Known for their unique hardness and durability, Emerson anvils have proven themselves in every application. Each anvil delivers outstanding rebound, strength, and workability, making them a trusted choice in professional shops across the country.
All Emerson anvils are poured at an ISO certified foundry and made from 4140 tool steel. The face and base are milled, and the entire anvil is fully heat treated (through hardened) to 48 to 50 C Rockwell, providing strength, durability, toughness, and a lifetime of workability.
