Kevin Bacon’s Hoof Dressing is a 100% natural balm made from animal fat and fresh laurel leaves, traditionally crafted to preserve the strength, elasticity, and shine of horse hooves. This premium hoof dressing deeply nourishes the horn, penetrates through to the inner layers, and helps balance moisture content in all seasons. Regular use prevents hooves from drying out, protects them from dampness, and promotes healthy horn growth.

How to Use
- Standard maintenance: Apply 2 times per week to the outside, sole, and frog with a brush.
- Before a show: Apply once for visual shine and protection.
- In dry weather: Apply 4–5 times a week to maintain moisture balance.
- For very dry hooves: Hose down feet, dry, then apply daily for one week. If needed, switch to “The Green Hoof Dressing” daily until improvements are seen.

This stuff is great!! All natural & can be used on the outside of the hoof or on the frog. Texture is like crisco meets peanut butter, yet not sticky, with minimal dirt/shavings attraction and absorbs super fast. For one horse, one tub will last over a year. Definitely buy an application brush. ***well shod is a great company***lightning fast shipping with great selection of obscure items. (And I got candy in my box:)
