Nigel has over 30 years of farriery experience and holds both Diplomacy & Associate examinations of the Worshipful Company of Farriers. He has competed worldwide, his honours include National Industrial Blacksmithing Champion, two Italian Farriery Show Champion titles in Verona Italy, a British National Champion Medallist, two times World championship finalist in Calgary Canada 2007 & 2013 and a finalist at the European Farriery Championships in Austria 2012. He was a member of the England Team that won the World Team International in 2013 & 2014 and was Reserve Individual International Show Champion 2014. In 2016 Nigel and team mates Steven Beane, Darren Bazin & Derek Gardner won the prestigious World Horseshoeing Team Classic in Kentucky, USA. Nigel is a worldwide teaching farriery clinician passing on his experience of shoeing, forging and competition skills at clinics in the USA, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, Austria, Denmark, Sweden, Italy & Germany.
